Do you know the future? Can a cat tell you yours?

Posted on December 8, 2011

Lets listen in on a conversation between a girl and a cat, between Cheshire Cat and Alice in Wonderland:

Alice asked; “Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”

That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.

“I don’t much care where” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.

The first step to living and fulfilling your dream in life and business is 2012 is seeing yourself living your dream and that’s because you know where you want to go. Imagining yourself living your life and setting your mind and direction into motion to achieve it. Not being clear about your vision will absolutely get you going in the wrong direction, and possibly cause you to head the wrong way.

If you don’t know where you want to go, then you won’t know where you will end up. But, if you do know where you want to go, then that road leads to the direction of fulfilling your dream and vision.

A goal for 2012: Developing your future leaders.

At the end of the day, a company is only as good as the people it employs.

One of the biggest failures of micro-entrepreneurs is that these business owners are not committing to developing the talents and drilling down into their people to know who their best people are, and then putting them in the right positions. It’s time to nurtured the minds and hearts of employees who are inspired to reach their full potential.

Apple, Facebook, and Google are examples of companies that are committed to developing and retaining talent. Are you ready to be the next Apple, facebook or Google? As a leader, what are you doing to spot, develop, and reward key employees?

How committed are you to developing future leaders in 2012?
